The Loop lunch

It was a great pleasure to participated in The Loop’s lunch last Friday. The Loop as a meeting place for business, academia and research is important.

During the lunch we met many interesting, professional and committed people. Social meetings are crucial for research to result in innovative and practical products and services for a sustainable future.

The Loop’s concept is an important offer for all stakeholders with interest in societal, climate and environmental change based on science. Research transformed into new technical applications demand settings like this. A need the climate challenge makes us painfully aware of.

The proximity to ESS and Max IV is of course the driving force in the university’s decision to establish operations in the Science Village, but without human, professional meetings, many interesting research results may not result in innovations.

Nanolab Science Village is an important step in the university’s establishment in Science Village. In nanoscience, there are the keys to many solutions for a sustainable future. It is truly a revolutionary step in technological development.

We are very happy that we had the opportunity to inform about the new laboratory and our mission to support the university’s establishment in the emerging Science Village. More over it is important to emphasize the fact that the establishment process also include new opportunities for the entire campus.

Feel free to participate in the Science Village office’s conversation tomorrow in Swedish about the university’s campus plan and its development, Tuesday 16 Nov 08.00-09-00. Welcome to register here.

Many thanks, The Loop, for a valuable meeting. We look forward to all fruitful meetings to come!
