In consultation with the Faculty of Engineering (LTH) and the Faculty of Science, a project plan has been adopted, and a steering group has been assembled for Nanolab Science Village, Phase 1. The project aims to plan and oversee the construction of a new and larger Nanolab facility to accommodate modern equipment with improved performance and greater capacity, while meeting current safety requirements. Adjacent to the lab, office spaces and communal areas for staff are needed, along with temporary workspaces and meeting areas for users. The project also collaborates with Stage 2.
The steering group is responsible for ensuring the project’s cost-effectiveness and alignment with operational needs. It will continually make strategic decisions regarding the implementation of the construction project within the framework of overarching decisions made by the Vice-Chancellor and/or the Faculty Board.
